White iPhones available at most likely every AT&T and Apple store Friday
We just got word that in the initial iPhone shipments to AT&T and Apple stores, they received the white 16GB version. There was news that there were no white units available in O2’s U.K. inventory, but we’ve confirmed the availability of white units in the U.S. for Friday’s launch. Now the real question … black or white? Please don’t make this into a race issue in the comments. Please.
Gotta go with black. Even though the white will show scratches/fingerprints less, the black looks much cooler. If the front were white too, I might reconsider. Gotta have uniformity in the design!

I think white would be cool seeing theres not many white devices out there, the part i do worry about is will the white stain over time or turn yellow?

Gonna have to go with BLK…It’ll show less dirt..and not that Im saying this will happen but some apple products have been known to leave burn marks on white finishes:)

After seeing the unboxing photos yesterday, it re-inforced my decision to go white. The fingerprints on the black looked outta control!
BLK all the way!! I like white but something about black makes it more appealing when it comes to devices and vechiles.
Blk = stealth, luxury, mystery and did I mention how great women look in black attire lol!
I’m going with White. Just because its different. Seriously, how many phones are right white? I used to have a white pair of Oakley sunglasses – loved them, until they broke.

i know this isnt the right place to ask but is there some way to get the 32GB memorry out of the ipod touch and put it into an iphone? i know it sounds like a lot of work and hacking around but could it be possible?

Anyways, black if i can get my hands on bestskinever.com stuff. You know Ive had that skin on my iphone for 4 months, just put another 1 on and not one scratch on the phone. not 1 finger print nothing.

Black, cause it’s cheaper. It’s more fingerprint prone, but I’ll be using a case with it so that shouldn’t matter much.

I’ve always preferred white myself. Not into black although black colored objects are in over-abundance here in the Long Beach area.
iphone = garbage. Why you ask? bad phone quality but good multimedia. Any word on the call quality on this phone?

i agree, bad phone quality in the PAST. but apparently this is one of the big improvements apple has worked on. Apparently, the plastic back opposed to the original aluminum back allows for better reception for the antenna.

I’m going Black. It’s going in a case anyway so I’m not worried about finger prints. If I get a clear case the black peeking out would look better in my opinion.
Will the white finish turn yellow after awhile? I’ve heard some people say maybe burn marks?
