Like, for realz? You’re going after the kid right now? The Bold-breaker? Javelin-leaker? Thunder-scoopster? Kickstart-poster? I’m not even going to get into too many details but I will respond to a couple of the more stupid questions and insinuations posed. First off, you’re saying one of my AT&T sources gave me information on the Thunder, right? Because that makes so much sense. You know, a device which very few people have had access to, being used by someone who works for AT&T. If you haven’t heard by now, it’s coming to Verizon. Idiots. But what about time frame BG? “IT’S COMING OUT IN AUGUST!!!” What did I tell you when I broke the Thunder story? November. What’s 4-5 months from now? November. Oh, ok. Secondly, my source is a source I would trust 100x over almost anybody else. Not going to give too much away to protect him, but let’s say they work for RIM and has helped BGR out a ton in the past. Sorry guys, but we don’t regularly cite commenters as our “high-up sources.” Lastly… the iPhone fanboy accusations. Maybe you haven’t noticed, but 65-70% of our readers are BlackBerry fanatics, and we’re the world-leader in BlackBerry news. I didn’t want to get into this, but if you’d really like to, go add up all your “exclusive” BlackBerry stories and let’s see how many were correct. Then add up mine. Go ring-a-ling that bell somewhere else, because I don’t play games. I bring factual heat.
P.S. Please stop using the term ninja. Ninjas are people who risk their jobs and livelihood for your site and your readers, not people who comment on your blog.

I was thinking to myself when other sites called BG out for Apple fanboyism.. and i was like WTF i’m pretty sure that you’re very even handed!
They’re all full of themselves. I go to engadget and Gizmodo and Crackberry for general information, but i’m much more inclined to believe BG than any of them.

People need to get a grip, and let the author blog what ever he has on his mind. Pretty simple really. Crackberry is a fan site, BGR is an info blog. BGR’s record speaks for itself, those guys are trying to catch up.

There are a lot of better things you could be doing, so if you aren’t tryna keep up with these threads to better your business, make more money, and help customers(if you work at a company), you should take a long hard look at your self and do something productive.

Thats how this game works. There is NO way that the Thunder has a “sweet touchscreen” in July. We dont even have a BOLD yet! This has been, by the way, one of my all time favorite reads on BGR…Wegmans said it best – I read the other sites, but will believe the KID over any of them every time. And I do think the KID doth like Apple – SO WHAT!?! The KID is fair and gets our BB info to us better than all the others combined. Patience is a virtue. Instead of worrying about when the Bold or Thunder drops, start worrying about your fantasy football draft….

BG, I’ve got your back on this one 100%. As far as I’m concerned, this is the first place I come to for info on the latest phones and what’s hot with the carries. You are always coming out w/ shots of phones before others do and I believe you do a well and unbiast opinion on these phones.
What I don’t understand is how all these people stick around just to bad mouth… If you guys don’t like the site, then why waste your time and come back. Makes no sense to me.
Another issue I would like to touch is the big O… No, not that one. I am talking about opinions. In regards to reviews, they are all based on opinions. We all have a favorite devices, and we all know that there are people that swear by there device, whether it be an iPhone or BlackBerry. The fact that CrackBerry may have a review and love the phone doesn’t mean that everybody is going to have the same opinion. I agree w/ BG that somebody that is upfront and can admitt to the fact that his company’s phone is having problems should be praised. It sounds to me that the issue has been noted and is going to be addressed. It’s a basic checks and balances system and this is RIM’s first jump into the touchscreen market (as far as I know), so of course it’s going to take some work.
Anyways, BG, keep up the good work and brush them haters off!!!
