iPhone 3G unboxing, bitches!
Have you heard of the new iPhone 3G? One of our Apple ninjas came through for us, and we’ve got some unboxing goodness for you to enjoy. Yes sir — iPhone 3G is in the BGR offices! First impressions? It’s black and shiny. In all seriousness, it’s very sleek, the chrome buttons look great, and it feels just as good as the first one. Our unit is not activated though, so we couldn’t actually explore anything. But then again, we’ve definitely seen OS 2.0 before. Thoughts? We’ve got some awesome detailed pictures all up in our gallery, and we even included some sexy iPhone on iPhone action shots for all y’all wanting to see them side by side. Check it out!

They are clearly not in the same category. The iPhone is bridging a gap between having fun with a mobile device and using it for business, while WinMo phones are pretty much straight up business.
If you don’t like it, fine. But why are you even reading a post about unboxing, just to leave a long, drawn out comment while proving that you can’t add?
Does anybody know if when we get the iPhone 3G, when we plug it to the computer, we will have the option to “install” the backup from the previous iPhone?
Absolutely. Make sure you run a backup of your first gen iphone first. Then connect the 3G to itunes and you’ll have the option to “restore” your iphone.

To activate you will need iTunes 7.7 OR iTunes 7.6.3 which is what is being used on day of launch. This was a version not made public.

Everyone wants a video. To bad your super cool Iphone doesn’t have video capabilities. Plus your super cool $70 a month phone with no texting plan included can’t even send and recieve MMS. Why you sheep can’t wait to get this phone is beyond me.
