Glad someone else said it because I’m sitting here staring at my MBP and wondering what the heck it is that I’m missing.

And, yes, jh, I was going to say the same thing. The holes are probably just the same apple sans the white plastic pieces.

The case in the pic appears to be stripped down. Perhaps the holes are to due to no illuminating plastic Apple logo?

i have to agree, I barely detect a difference and the current mbp’s are aluminum so I am not getting this at all. The holes are whack though.
