I mean, this would've been cool in the post-Napster-court-rulings era but nowadays, it's just kind of... blah. I mean, from my perspective, I don't think I've seen a successful fee-based, subscription-based service on the market (wsj.com, apple itunes, and xbox live aside). I don't think I'm the only one: the Nokia ticker is around $25ish, and compared to being $30ish around year-end last year. Bottomline, I think Warner needed this more than Nokia did... guess we'll find out soon enough! I agree with the BGR report here.
