So as time keeps passing by, the silence from AT&T on the Nokia E71 is deafening. Are we to assume that the E71 is NOT coming to AT&T? By the way, I played with one in the Chicago Nokia store this past weekend. It was better than I expected, absolutely gorgeous phone!

The HTC Tilt II is not the Touch Pro. It’s basically a faster Tilt.

Guys and gals, just keep one thing in mind here, dont take this leak to seriously, a roadmap that goes out this far is bound to have standard “generic” info that is never the same when the product is released anyways, I agree with most comments, that there is just way too much missing here that has not been accounted for, look at the similarities in all the settings, very generic across the board, again, dont read to much into it and hopefully we will all be shocked and surprised when some more devices come out.

This roadmap has already been confirmed to be fake.

There is not HTC device with 128mb of ram in development the touch pro itself is 288mb of ram. htc would not go backward. and HTC reps have confirmed info is not valid

The “Tilt 2″ can not be the Touch Pro, can it? According to this it’s only 256/128 but all the specs I’ve read say it’s 512/228. I’m not buying this thing if it has the same amount of RAM as my Tilt. Forget that noise. Especially if it has to run Touchflo 3D. That’s going to dog on 128 RAM.

And no mention of the Diamond? Xpera? An Android phone? Omnia? This is a pretty weak list. I’m disappointed.

Problem is all those sites “confirming” the i907 all leeched off the original BGR story. I read it here first and watched it spread and get reported by various other sites so I wouldnt put too much stock in what they say.

As Jack said, the FCC docs seem to point to the i907 being a NA version of the i780 but this roadmap mentions another Samsung device so which one is that?

I agree. Where are the non pda phones that are worth buying. AT&T really needs to change the way they do business because they think they can force a $30.00 feature on people. Look at the phone selection at Verizon and how profitable they are. I hate AT&T’s line up because they have the Curve, Blackjack and the two motos and that’s it for quality products. The 6555 is ok but just like the Sony 750, AT&T has ruined the phones with worthless junk. The Shine has a nice build but horrid reception. AT&T needs to get out of the way of the manufactures and stop trying to nickle and dime both the manufactures and the customers with crap products. The manufactures are forced to build at AT&T’s price point and ends up making a product that is very cheaply built which makes the customer suffer for it. I have see the mark up on phones and after the mark up and ‘discount’ for a two year renewal, the customer is only getting about a 50.00 ’subsidy’ on the phone for signing a contract. When the iPhone was still in store it retailed for less than the V9, Z9, n75, VU, Access and within the same range as the Shine. WHY????????? If AT&T would go back to letting the manufactures make a good, quality handset and not dictate what the phone will and will not have and actually subsidize the cost, then every customer they have would be happier. We would also see more innovation. We would not be locked to sub-par features (Mobile Email—-WHICH DOESN’T EVEN SUPPORT GMAIL!!!), over priced services (wireless internet for the blackberry is 3.00 less than my DSL with less reliability and max connection speed of 150 Kb) and usability (the shortcut button on most phones is the MEdia Net launcher, which gets AT&T tons of money {unethically} by people pressing on accident.) The current form of AT&T will follow suit of AT&T of old by the very same methods. The company really needs to fire every decision maker in the company and start over. Get rid of all the ‘Old Telco’ guys and get back to putting money into the network at GET BACK TO BEING AN INNOVATIVE COMPANY… Please stop the communistic ways.

First, AT&T is testing the i907 now. So just because it’s not released, doesn’t mean that they aren’t in the field.

Second, Have you actually read the FCC docs on the i907? Everyone is assuming that the i907 is the NA version of the i900. The truth is, Samsung switched it up this time and didn’t use the 7 for this AT&T device.

I guess you’ll just have to wait and see. I right though…

what the hell i907 is you holding? the i900 hasnt even been released yet. the REAL i907 is the at&t version of the samsung i900. now unless samsung downgraded the camera and added a qwerty keyboard and secretly released the i900 there’s no way you are telling the truth. maybe your holding a purple blacjack 2 that says “im actually the samsung i907″

the samsung i907 is not the blackjack 3. the i907 has a 5 megapixel camera and NO qwerty keyboard. the bj3 is most likely gonna be the american version of the samsung i780…ala i788

Let’s see….NO Xperia (major major let down of the century, I know more people holding out for the Xperia than the 3giphone…), NO E71, NO E66, NO Samsung Omnia….Unbelievable. So pretty much if you want a new top of the line smartphone you are pidgeon-holed into a 3g Iphone or Blackberry Bold or buying unlocked online. I don’t care what that chart says we all know if it says Late Q4 that is speaking atandtease for “Q1-Q2 of 2009″. And I don’t know why they are calling anything “Tilt 2″ because the Touch Pro does not tilt in any way and would kind of look stupid if someone breaks the hinges trying to tilt it…..I mean in all honesty I am switching to the 3g iphone anyway, however I was really hoping to have the Xperia or Omnia or at LEAST the E71 to make my final decision. I guess the good news is that isn’t much else to choose from lol…

No E71. If AT&T would offer it, I would get it over the iphone. I guess it is not a lose for them as I’ll get iphone 3G. Big lose for Nokia. E71 is far superior to a freaking blackjack.
