Sony Mylo 2 gets minor update with Video Recording

Are you one of the 78 people out there that actually bought a Sony Mylo 2? Today is your (moderately) lucky day. Sony has just released a minor update to its diminutive little messenging/PMP/gaming gadget. The new firmware version brings video recording to the Mylo 2 by way of its rear-facing camera, which should allow you to share as many embarrassing moments with the outside world as you’d like, provided you’re in range of a Wi-Fi connection. Other enhancements include support for 16 GB Memory Sticks, as well as a variety of UI enhancements.

Would it be too much for Sony to make it possible to pair this thing with…uh…I dunno a 3g SE phone? A MyloX online via a K850 would be a nice combo.

I got mine on ebay a month after it came out, i didn’t even know it had a camera or touch screen until after I won the auction, but i was disappointed that I couldn’t record video. Now if it could recognize ad hoc wireless networks so I could use my laptop as a wireless access point in combination with my wireless broadband card when I am on the go.
