T-mobile customers who are subscibed to the total internet package for 19.99 will not only be able to get unlimited data on the phone aswell as being able to use phone as tethered modem but will also be granted a free hotspots account that they can sign into using any wifi device including their the phones and personal laptops at any Tmobile hotspots location. None of the data plans for the blackberry includes a free hotspot account but its not needed be be able to get wifi access on the blackberry. All UMA phones from the basic nokia to the blackberries can access UMA at any T-mobile hotspot location. To be able to use wifi on a blackberry all is needed is that the customer needs to be subscribed to one of blackberry data plans. Now if you want to get unlimited hotspot access let's say on your laptop and you don't want or need data for your phone or are using a Blackberry Tmobile has a Hotspot only addon for 19.99. Now for Danny's comment about air cards Tmobile has been selling wifi/edge cards for years but there not a big seller. Most laptops these days come with build in wifi standard and for about the same price as the aircard a customer can get new pda and use it as a usb modem. I'm sure T-Mobile, once they rollout and start selling aircards and USB modems will do the same with their huge existing WiFi footprint.
