Sidekick LX OTA walkthrough
Ok, chaps. We just got the much-awaited Sidekick LX OTA courtesy of the good folks over at Danger. And yes, it does record video! Aren’t you excited? We detailed a long list of what the OTA contains, but we’ll post it again to give you a recap:

Okay, so the update said june 25th an on another web site it’s saying late july. Was there issues to work out that made it delayed or was it all a hoax?
Will this be able to play music online versus a mp3 player?
i got my lx in october…still no update…shouldn’t have gotten it sooner than most? T-Mobile shouldn’t mess around with peoples feelings by making them wait.
Obviously the info was wrong….The SK LX Tony Hawk version comes out in a few days…it will indeed have this update already installed..tmobile and danger r smart. They want ppl to buy their new SKTH version. The only way people will buy it is if it has something the others don’t. What else could it be? I mean that SK isn’t even cute…and sorry but I wouldn’t buy a product just because it said a celebs name on it.and even if I did.. Tony Hawk??? Yea right… so I say ladys and gents, wait until that SK comes out to expect an update.

I owned the first sidekick, a blackberry, an MDA, and a wing. I’m now using a sklx. I’m happy. It doesn’t forget it’s a phone, like the windoze phones would. As for the blackberry, it is very good stuff, but too email oriented and the newer ones have lost that old toughness. I guess it’s the keyboard. I’m much happier with the larger keyboard. Touch screens are too delicate. The sidekick’s screen can take it. And the light and fluffy o/s works solidly. Hmmm…maybe Microsoft is buying danger for a reason. It doesn’t have all the fancy functionality of some of the the othe phones, but it keeps me connected with my family better than the others did.
Hell yeah yes I just got my freakin update last night wile I was sleep and when I woke up it was on the screen this shit is sweet im so happy I just got through listening to a whole bunch of songs on napster yes napster my friend got hers this morning so I guess people in cali are getting em now don’t mean to rub it in but im about to watch a couple of videos on mtv.com yayayay hahhahahahaha just be patiant.

Hey, I was charging my phone, and went and checked on it and like the battery bars dissapeared and there was this other symbol there…its looks like a thermometer kinda…turned sideways…its wierd…..and like when I unplugged it, it was at the same charge level as when I plugged it in!…someone help plzzzzz

That happens to me sometimes too…usually when I’m on the phone and charging my sk at the same time. Your Sidekick is telling you that it is too hot,and you should unplug it. Are you using the charger that came with your device? If not, that’s probably the reason. If you are, maybe you should get another charger. Make sure its a charger for a Sidekick LX(if that’s the model you have). Since resetting the device usually fixes almost everything, try, while your phone is still on, removing the battery, Then putting it in again and see if it works. Also try charging the phone while its off. If that all fails…call tmobile and complain.
Im in da great state of Tejas and I aint got da update yet eitha! ITs gettin rediculous now. I aint even hyped up like I was to receive anymo eitha! When it comes, it comes I guess. I knew Danger and Tmo was gon do somethin like this and take all day to unleash the update to everyone!
