wth are you talking about?

Had no trouble locating bookmarks or setting up new ones here.

Any comparison (good or bad) to Windows Explorer is a gross misrepresentation.

Don’t download 3.0 if you want the same functionality of the bookmarks as in 2. They’ve changed it. It’s like a dumbed-down Windows Explorer, hard to explain beyond that, but it’s awful. Not as bad as IE’s methods. But I got rid of it as fast as I could after realizing it had put all my un-foldered bookmarks in an almost secret hiding place, and would only allow me to see the contents of one folder of bookmarks at a time. The Mozilla web site has a blog or comments section on 3.0 where you can find a direct link to a download of 2.0. FIE, Mozilla! Why in the world did you do this?

FF is such a hog and Safari is just a better solution for Mac users. If I were a Windows user I’d probably go with it over Windows version of Safari (since it’s still so new) but if I were a Windows user, or Galvatron, I’d hang myself to death in my shower anyway…. Just kidding about the Windows user part…

On two different computers the main BGR page is pulling up the mobile version in FF3 for Mac OS X… Is this just something on my end?

( Okay, no one respond that it’s because I’m on a Mac. )

I’d like to get excited about FF3, but I’m still PO’d that any time I attempt to download anything with FF on my Mac that it crashes. It also doesn’t know how to render Yahoo mail attachments. Not impressed so far.

For those apple users creating sites in iWeb with picture galleries, Firefox 3 renders any picture galleries useless. A fix was posted at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1563823&tstart=0

The automatic update function isn’t work well, but going to the site works now. I got in and downloaded the new .exe file in seconds.

This new FF is absolutely amazing, it looks better, it runs better, and it already screwed up by syncing IE instead of FF2 for my bookmarks.

Yup, it’s fantastic. At 2:35 it is finally showing the new pages for FF3 but the download link will take you to a 2.0.0.14 release (and if you click the link it fails).

It is funny to see the “Help Firefox Set a World Record” link on the page. I’m not sure what record they are trying to set, but at the very least they’ll set the “most http request failed page refreshes”, the “most unsuccessful downloads”, and the “most feet ever swallowed” records hands down.

Im so sorry teacher! Please forgive I will download Firefox immediately so that BGR loads .5 seconds faster!!!
Calm down guy, I’m not bashing firefox for it being useless, its a good browser and infact obviously better then IE7.

But alot of ppl will never really see the difference afterwards unless you are really tech savy, (and again) a internet addict.

But you get a “A+” for trying to get at me though okay.
