the GSM can be unlocked but will not be used in the US (same as the 8830). The aurora has to be the GSM version (since the CDMA wont work on Vodafone) of the Storm, same ID, same device information.

I really hope that the aurora will be the next version of the pearl. After having my pearl 8120 for a month, I have really grown to appreciate the candy bar design on the BB.

Im going to go out on a limb and say the BlackBerry Thunder will be packing all the firepower out of the rest of its siblings.

And with its chipset supporting GSM and not just verizons CDMA unlocking it and using it with other carriers sounds awesome just thinking about it!

The CDMA Bold will be coming a few months after AT&T gets it..

I agree its funny that AT&T gets the exclusive on the Bold(at least at first) and of course, the iphone…

Once again, BG is the first to break the news! Great work! Can’t wait for the Bold !

I read somewhere about the Bold release for June 25th, but not sure if thats for Rogers or AT&T.

Damn, no CDMA Bold!!!!!!!!!! Why give ATT all the goodies when they are wedded to iPhone? I want a real keyboard, not “virtual”. VZW told me the Bold or whatever it will be called (CDMA) is likely Sept ‘08.

The seawolf is exact same as kickstart, but with GPS. Won’t be out for a long time, be patient! Kickstart is coming though, watch out. Javelin is basically the curve with a high-res screen, and thinner, the thunder is rolling now too, stay tuned

I live in Canada and I have a few friends who work at RIM. I will be soon harassing them for details about there new phones. One of those guys already showed me the BB bold about 1.5 months ago, it was a prototype. I wonder if he’s going to be able to test out the thunder…
