Sony Ericsson says hello to 8.2 megapixel camera phone
Yeah, and you thought the current bumper crop of 5-megapixel camera phones was impressive. According to the Unoffical Sony Ericsson Blog, SE is getting ready to unleash this 8.1 megapixel beast on an unsuspecting public. The C905 is a Cybershot camera phone with a pretty impressive “trick” up its sleeve. In addition to the Herculean megapixel count, the new flagship SE Cybershot phone sports GPS, HSDPA, ActiveSync Exchange support, Wi-Fi, an accelerometer, 2.4″ QVGA screen, and much more. No word on pricing, but expect this bad boy to be announced on the 17th of June, alongside a host of other upcoming SE phones.
Makes me wonder why Jobs couldn’t spring for at least 3MP.

sorry, you’ll lose all 31 million customers
Just wish they’ll fit a bigger CCD/CMOS sensor in it than most cameraphones use. Otherwise we’ll be looking at a hell of noise in those 8.2mp photos — or a noise reduction filter than ruins all details.
Should be stable, affordable, and released by…oh I’d say June 2009 if they announce it next week.

Its a awesome phone i only wish they had it avaible to buy from the head office of SE already i work for 3 dealer and i cant wait for it to come to us im hoping i can get one b4 it comes out tho
right.. big fat chunky phone C905… mm maybe usefull for killing wild dog.. or human. or editing my pet rabit having sex.. and listen to mp3 while enjoying rain.. well hope battery life enough for 30 minit .. hey how battery life??
