Verizon serves up in-house Push Email solution
If yesterday’s iPhone 3G announcement, complete with full Exchange and MobileMe mini-exchange support wasn’t enough to sway you from your existing Verizon contract, all isn’t lost. Verizon has just announced RemoSync, which amounts to a push email solution for Enterprise users. The new Get-it-now application allows users to send and receive email, access Outlook contacts, and receive calendar alerts, all from the comfort of their Verizon-branded handset. All this goodness ain’t cheap, however, with plans starting at $9.99/month + data charges. Then again, Exchange support is pretty awesome…

Is this similar to Unite! from Blackberry? In that you need to leave your computer on?
Verizon’s next move: Crippling push e-mail on their Blackberry devices.
Verizon’s actual next move:
In an attempt to double their customers and make their company look better than it actually is, Verizon Wireless sets out to buy itself…only to realize afterwards that the result is nothing but an epic fail.
I’m bored at work…
Hopefully their venture is more reliable than AT&T xpress mail…shudders…
Damn, why y’all gotta be hatin’ on me?
@verizon
brilliant I don’t know why but I laughed out hard for like 2 mins after I read your post. long day i guess…
The only saving grace for Verizon BB users is that “Get It Now” still (after how many YEARS?) Doesn’t support Blackberry smartphones. Else no doubt big red would try to convert us so they could charge us another $10/month.
Is Apple the only innovator left?
