Tony Hawk Sidekick LX LE launches in July, adds video recording, other features
So, you’re on the edge of seat waiting for this fabled Tony Hawk Sidekick LX to launch, huh? Good news for you then, because we just got the full scoop on it! The device will be “previewed” starting tomorrow but won’t go on sale until mid July. Beginning tomorrow, however, you’ll start to see it on Sidekick.com and “all over the news media.” The phone supposedly has a “skateboard look and feel with a grip-tape-texture and his well known hawk graphic.” Here’s where it gets interesting for all you Sidekick lovers, though — the device will ship with video recording capability, something called play and share (obviously sharing the recorded videos), stereo Bluetooth support, easier downloads and more themes and background personalization options. This summer, all Sidekick LX customers will get that OTA and be in video heaven.

I’ve had 2 iphones, 2g and 3g with att, and also a Blackberry Curve 8900 with T Mobile… Excellent phones. But i’ve also had a sidekick LX before all of those high tech phones, and personally… the sidekicks are neck and neck or right beneath them… : )
not quite sure if anybody else had this problem but with blackberry you have to pay for internet plus 30 to blackberry just to get on the net. I had the pearl and the curve both phones were giant piles. They both froze all the time and the pearl actually erased everything a few times. And the actual BB support sucked nuts. They were all jerks and never really helped. needless to say i would never recommend a blackberry because all i have heard is they are more of a headache, people say they liked their razr better. anyways i just ordered my lx i hope its better than my old BB’s cuz i will straight throw it over the balcony.
