Exclusive spec sheet and shots for Sprint’s LG LX400
Looking for some exclusive info on the LG LX400? Please try and contain your excitement. This low-end clamshell is set to drop on June 15th, with a suggested retail price of $279.99, though we’re guessing that will drop significantly with any applicable rebates. The phone itself is a pretty boring affair, sporting a 1.3 MP camera, Sprint Navigation support, Bluetooth, and a bit more. The jewel of this phone’s spec sheet, however, is that it supports Direct Connect and appears to interface seamlessly with Nextel’s network, utilizing the carrier’s “Single Number Option feature. We’re certainly not going to be rushing down to our local Sprint store to snag this one, but if for some reason this looks appealing, more power to you. Couple more shots after the jump!
Thanks, Omie!

Push-to-Talk??? Yaaawwwnnn…….
Hey…2001 called…they want their phone back.
I’m assuming this is QCHAT and not iDEN?
Nextel Direct Connect on Sprint/NDCS is 100% CDMA. The NDCS is indeed powered by Qualcomm’s QChat Solution and only works where Sprint has deployed 1xEV-DO Rev A. The High Performance Push To Talk/HPPTT is in essence VoIP.
This will sell, not a lot but more than people on this site believe
Old folks will buy it. It is the ugliest, most old-fashioned NEW thing I have ever seen.
Oops – I keep forgetting. I AM old. No one will buy that thing.
Lee, you’re a fucking moron! I guess you don’t realize how many people in public safety use iDen for PTT. Just because not everyone is pale white dork like yourself, doesn’t mean that some of us don’t get out there in the dirt and bust our ass for our cities and our country and use devices that are for one thing only, QUICK COMMUNICATION! Go play World of Warcraft or something.
What’s really messed up is that lg doesn’t bring anything cool to Sprint, hope that changes
