Nokia E71 video walkthrough: questions?

We’re going to start doing a full video walkthrough of the Nokia E71 and it should be up sometime tomorrow. Before doing so, we wanted to ask you guys if there is anything in particular you would like us to go over. (We’re looking at you, E61 owners.) Obviously we’ll go over the phone in its entirety, but if there are any specific questions and things you’d like us to check out, let us know. Drop a comment with what you’re looking for and we’ll do our best to get it in!

I am interested in two things:
1. The web browser interface with live demo of web surfing/internet browsing.
2. Speed of the O/S. Execution of commands and applications.

What size is the screen exactly? this is the biggest spoiler for me
how bright is the led flash on the camera? i am hoping its as bright as a dual led
i found even my e61 didnt render pdf files the way i wanted it to, has this improved in the e71
how about an opera mini 3.0 show as well
that would be nice
the dialpad flashing for missed calls sounds cool too, please make sure its in the vid
full dimensions comparison to the iphone would also be nice
brightness is important as the n82 screen is notorious for having a poorly lit screen
and finally, some info on when it will finally be released

I dont believe you can do an HSDPA speed test but maybe a WiFi speed test with the browser just to see if it has been improved a little bit.
Also, if you can show some camera demonstration, with pictures, so as to see if its like the N73 or worse.
And last but not least, please do a size comparison with the iPhone and what I would like personally is to see how it fits in the trouser pocket.

Could you type a small paragraph in the dark to see how well the key is lit?
Despite the ‘Z’ being at the same nokia spot.
Please show us the ‘halo’ at the centre key for missed event too !
Oh, is the earphone jack 2.5mm or 3.5mm ?
Also, what is that button above the MicroSD slot ?
Im really foaming at my mouth when i first saw the gallery !

How is the navigating (scrolling) through long emails?
I found the E61i cumbersome - using the Dpad is this at all improved.
Also my E61i has crap RF how much better is the E71?

So we know it has 1900/850 HSPA, but haven’t seen confirmation on any other bands. Does it support AWS 3G bands (2100/1700)? That’s the deal-maker/breaker for us TMo folks.

Okay a couple of things that will get people and e61/i users interested:
1. Media Capabilities - Yes, it is a business phone but that doesn’t mean that it can’t have media capabilities. The camera quality, flash quality, max storage capacity since it is a FP2 model.
2. The famous e61i browser crash with heavy websites - Surfing with the latest e71 browser and comparison with the e61/i browser. And on a related note, the ram size of the gadget.
3. The interface - How has it improved/worsened. How is the speed compared to the older models and the processor upgrade and the advantages it brings.
4. Physical features - What’s new and what has been changed for the better or worse. A detailed review of the keyboard and how having no space between the keys affects the device’s functionality.
5. Connectivity - WiFi, 3G, band coverage, bluetooth (A2DP availability), infrared and GPS.
Most of this is probably mentioned around the net but it would be better to have a de facto review of this awesome gadget. I, like many others, am more than happy to trade in my E61i for this. Kindly see to it if you can address these issues. Thank you.

A few things…
–switching between applications (ie Google Maps and e-mail)
–opening text messages and emails (maybe just my e61i but this takes a while)
–voip setup and use
–has nokia improved the ability to use “access point groups” sometimes you can sometimes you can’t…or at least created a preference setting for first wifi, then edge; wifi only, etc

Hi will this support ATT 3G or will there be 2 seperate models 1 for you europe and one for US. Also will You tibe work on this? How is the web browser? Please post some pics of the cameras photos.
What will be a better multimedia phone in your opion the 3g iphone or this?
