If you’re going to say “Various countries in Latin America”, why not “Various countries in Europe”? Why are you making Latin America a second class citizen?

I think you meant where not we’re.

I’ll buy an iPhone when it has the features of all the other phones of today and doesn’t cost 10x as much! This could take a long time, though… It is an Apple product afterall!

I second that one. I was expecting some compelling data visualization using bubbles and the world map that the post includes but is decidely dull because there is no data on the map. BORING.

I’m probably going to get it. The WiFi web experience is probably going to be unmatched.

Those whining the iPhone is over-rated don’t own an iPhone. I have five employees and bought each one an iPhone. Three didn’t want it at all, considered it silly, over-rated, not worth the cost, etc. Today I couldn’t pry the thing out of their hands or the ear buds out of their ears. When one employee left for another company he begged and pleaded to take his “over-rated” iphone with him (we said no, buy your own and he did). It is the one tool I would not want to be without - it brings me joy with music, fills countless hours watching movies, TVshows, YouTube, keeps all my contacts, keeps track of my appointments, alerts me to each caller individually (”Bill Black calling … Sandy Leeds calling…”). Reception is exceptional and never a worry about running out of battery. I crack up at those people walking down the street, their head’s cocked as they try to juggle items and keep that flip-thing to their ear. Too funny! People around me have no idea I’m on the phone a majority of the time. And the thing just keeps getting better. Can’t WAIT for the 3G and the ability to add apps without jailbreaking!

I don’t a iphone myself. I am planning on buying a 3G iphone as soon as it’s out. My brother in law came from Russia, and he is a windows maniac, with his iPhone and it was working very well. He could access internet at a critical moment we were at lost and needed someone’s phone. I tried with my blackberry and impossible to connect. No matter what, I can’t stand those JVM errors once a week. I quit Nokia when my N73 was rebooting in the middle of a conversation. Now I will gladly say bye bye to Blackberry.
