It’s getting so close we can touch it. A mysterious "iPhone Black" popped up on AT&T’s website recently when you select what type of phone you have. It’s listed alongside the traditional iPhone, so anyone want to place any bets on what this bad boy is? We’ll help you out…iPhone 3G. Has to be!
Thanks, E!

Cool! Nice to see. Man, those web developers leak more stuff than a sieve.

Has anyone tried calling Apple today? If you call and use the touch tone prompts and get to the iPhone section, you are then met with an automated message sending you to the Apple website. Not sure if that has to do with everyone in the world calling about the same thing, but I find it strange you can’t even get an Apple rep on the phone to inquire about the device

It’s when you are selecting your current phone, not an order being placed…..

The only problem with the iPhone Black is that all the calls come in like 30 minutes late…(sorry, I couldn’t resist!)

Hey Y’all,
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Apple iPhone would use ‘Black’ as part of the iPhone name? Hasn’t RIM already done that, you know, as in ‘BlackBerry’!!

What it probably means is the new phone will be available in black, and then other colors.

You guys are building assumptions on top of assumptions… Does anyone really know if the original iPhone (non-black) can be upgraded thus be comparable in features to 3G version?
