I use two websites associated with my work that require flash player. The BB7100i is what I first started using and liked it but I could not access these sites. I went to the MotoQ with no luck and even had trouble with email and Palm Treo works on the sites but I cannot access my email. It’s my work’s issue not the phone. I want a blackberry but I think even the Bold doesn’t have flash player according to what I have read. Is this true?

Is the Blackberry Bold a replacement for the Curve or a new model to sell alongside?

Just spoken to Vodafone in the UK – current release date for the Bold is 23rd July – although I was told release dates are rarely kept and often pushed back!

AT&T will not release the BOLD until labor day! The iPhone Black will be out in June. Trust me I got this from the “horse’s mouth” within ATT. Sucks, but it is what it is.

I have a sidekick but I may have to switch to the BOLD. I like the act the keys are the same from the 8800 series. iPhone is cool, but after a while the screen sensitivity wears down. BOLD it is.

My friend is at the WES, and he spoke to a TMobile rep about when they would get the BoldBerry, and the said they werent!

He’s going to switch from TMobile to AT&T.

The screen is larger than the Curve’s yes. But it has the same resolution as the iPhone. It is a heck of a lot nicer screen than I have seen on any other Smartphone, iPhone included. 32gb so what? iPhone is limited by phyiscal memory (current units 16gb). The Bold supports 16gb expandable, and since the limitation on microSD is somewhere around 256gb who wins in storage space now? Faster processor, 1gb internal PLUS external storage, security, and durability. 624mhz MMC processor, cant beat it.

Phone is hot! Looks like an i-berry. Lil bit of a bite of the iphone, but pretty sexy device! Will it be able to compete against a new iphone model? Of course! The iphone, whether the new or old, still has no keyboard, and just lacks the ease the BB brings to the table! I say, bring on the bold baby!

Word at WES developer conf. today is 4.6 OS is for new hardware (Bold onward) only, but that a later 5.0 OS will retrofit some of the new functions back to old devices.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but… if RIM doesn’t port a decent version of webkit browser to the “Bold”, it’ll just be a waste of good hardware. And no, Opera doesn’t cut it. Maybe they can pay Access to port their NetFront browser to this device.

I can just see the commercials now… “the bold(rim) and the beautiful(iphone)”

Suffering from for years with an AT&T Edge blackberry, I felt ignored with the recent CDMA 8330 curves and their mobile tv and all the bells and whistles.

But AT&T comes through again. WHOS LAUGHING NOW!
