It DOES rock. Its is WAY snappier than my tmo phone, and sound quality is a kadjillion times better. Calls connect instantly, little feedback, and pages open like I’m on a PC with cable modem. All programs I’ve installed worked, and, their NEW browser is BETTER than the tmo ver. of the Curve.

Lacking from it is the means to really customize a whittled home page with just what I want and none of what I dont… and worst of all, I’m just DESPERATE that they figure out that all the strongest competitors are using THREADED MESSAGING. How is it they knew it was valuable for BBS but not use the same standard of interface on SMS..?????? And I shouldn’t have to find a theme that lets me combine my email address in to one icon. I SHOULD be able to make a folder for my secondary apps… but over all, it rocks, and I’m happy. You know, I’m a LONG time GSM fan, but when it comes down to EVERYTHING working as it should straight out the box, you can’t beat the CDMA carriers. Yes, they do tend to limit some of your choices, but, they DOMINATE speed and setup.

Points for this thing… and I’m praying that the new handheld software, 4.5 or whatever they’re going to call it will push them to release the NEWEST ver. which MIGHT MIGHT MIGHT include threaded SMS. PRAY! They’re too good to abandon, so I just beg their compliance.

ummmm why do Best Buy wants $ 800.00 for the Blackberry Curve 8330 from Sprint. I can’t get over this are they stupid who gonna pay that price for a phone. I can see if it wifi and 10 mp camera come Best Buy get with it.
