Nokia E71 coming to AT&T in a shade of black and a shade of white?

Our AT&T ninjas are at it again! This time they’ve dropped us a note that the Nokia E71 will be making its way to the carrier. We’re working on getting pictures of the AT&T-branded Nokia E71, but until then, call this a rumor. You know, so you don’t totally hate us if this doesn’t turn out to be true.

I hope T-Mobile has some cool phones in its release schedule. It does not look good for them. they might loose my contract if they can not come up with some cool gadgets.

I’ve been with Tmobile forever…but not for long. Their phones are an absolute joke. I don’t care what they release to be honest, xperia, 9000, kaiser. It’s just really enough at this point. At&t has got my business come June…..

If this is the RM-407 on the FCC site, then it has 1700mhz 3G frequency…..

How well does the Nokia OS run. How is the tethering? I in need of a upgrade over my Blackjack, and a QWERTY keyboard is a must. This just might be my nexy buy.

I changed to AT&T to get the 8310 as I wanted the GPS. I’d have loved to stay with T-Mo - they have great customer service and the UMA is ideal as I get sucky reception on the high floor of my condo and my office.

Comeon T-Mo! Let AppleT&T continue it’s little love affair. If you shack up with Nokia, and give us some Espoo love, I’ll be back with ya faster than you can say “condom”

Indeed it is the fabled RM-407. Just in time too, as so many TMO users (like me) have been underwhelmed by the selection of 3G phones for AWS. The manic highs of seeing 3G AWS finally debut (even if only in NYC) followed by the manic lows of realizing there are no smart phones to take advantage of it. I had pinned my hopes on the XPERIA X1, but a web site is listing it “pre-sale” at $1799 !!! What scares me about that is the rest of his prices look to be in line. It’s not like he’s jacked everything up and is wildly out of touch. Maybe it’s just pre-release hype, but if the final price is anywhere NEAR that I don’t even want to look at it.

Yea. I’m using the original BJ on T-Mo at the moment, and it has served well. I also had a Nokia E61 for a while. Liked the software, but it was just too big. This looks to be very similar in size to the BJ, and if it has 1700, then I’ll probably go for one.
Come on, T-Mo……hurry up and get it out - at a reasonable price, please!!!

C’mon folks, once AT&T gets a hold of a Nokia or any other phone, it is stocked with a bunch of AT&T junk. Unlocked and unbranded is the way to go.

Yay! So, this means at&t will cripple it, like they did with the E62?

Please don’t let AT&T and Nokia do to the E71 what they did to the E61 when the E62 was “designed”. Make a difference by signing the online petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/NokiaE71/petition.html

    Thank you.
