Hitman for free on iTunes

By some weird stroke of luck, cruelty, or fate the movie Hitman has shown up for free on iTunes. You can access the film by heading to the Movies section of the store, hitting the browse button, and navigating to the "thrillers" genre section. There, at the bottom of the list, is the movie Hitman. Why anyone would want to waste 1.5GBs of storage space on this obomination is beyond us, but if you’re the type that can’t turn down a free offer, no matter how appalling the product, then this one is for you. Could this be a sign of more free content to come? Probably not, as it appears to be more of a glitch than a feature, but you never know.

I see it, but I see this:

“The item you tried to buy is no longer available.

The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere in the store.”

…and there is another one listed (not free). Guess they corrected it.

    Rent: $3.99
    Buy: $14.99

Guess they closed the loophole. I wonder if they’ll go after the folks who got it for free and try to charge their account!

Actually I believe this to be a good marketing technique because it will get more people to browse the Itunes Movie store while searching for this & they will see other things there as well that they may ACTUALLY want to spend money on.
