ridiculous… alll this hype and even a plane flight out to London for a lot of people, for ONE phone?!?!! what a waste… and it’s not even that exciting, the only thing exciting about it is the new TouchFlo 3D software… and the fact that they’re using real processors now… wow… what a waste, no QWERTY, tri-band GSM and dual band 3G… they should have made this event worth while…

A sad, over-hyped, and way, way anti-climatic announcement.

I’ve been waiting for this May 6th event for a while along with many, hoping for something to knock my socks off. While the Diamond has decent specs (except for that battery), my socks are still on my feet.

Yep HTC must be partnering with T-Mob US because they are definitely letting the new stuff just trickle out to the masses with this “big announcement” one phone release. Like T-Mo’s big one city 3G announcement after like 3 years of us waiting.

1 phone that we knew about already, same gay usb headdphone jack, battery that we all know won’t last longer than 4 hours MAX, and to top it off they’re shafting the states on launch…the battle is still between: 3g iphone, 9000, and xperia. HTC just took themselves out of the contender’s race….

yeah 900mAh batt? yeah. try watching slingbox over 3G. Ittl last all but 5 minutes. I just went back to blackberry.. wont go back to winmo until someone can come out with a winmo phone with decent batt life.

One f’ing phone? Phone won’t be released till later this year in the U.S. Since they won’t put a date for the US market but will for the Europe market my guess will be September….WTF???

What is the point in all the hype if we have to wait so long for the phone to hit? I mean seriously.

The only upcoming phones I would consider doing that for (besides the Dream) are the Nokia Tube and… actually I think that’s it since the Instinct cat is out of the bag. And still… those don’t touch (pun unintended) an Android Phone.

The first Android Phone announcement is literally the start of a revolution. This was another iClone phone announcement. I’m a Voyager guy but still… I mean cmon…

The comment of 0157h7 and BGR response reminds me of Dave Chapelle’s skit about P. Diddy’s “Making The Band” where he mocks P. Diddy making them cross the Brooklyn Bridge for a piece of pie… This time forcing the group to go fetch him some Cambodian Breast Milk
