100 hours with Push enabled????? Good Lord in heaven what is this a Samsung? Surely this freaking phone has more than 4 days standby time with push email!!! I would stab the store clerk if he tried to sell me a $600 SMARTPHONE that had a standby time of 4 days…..and I don’t know many peeps sporting high-end pda phones that aren’t running push of some kind, Exchange or BB….

A battery that lasts 100 hours on STANDBY for push email enabled? What is this a Samsung T-series? I don’t know many peeps sporting high-end $700 PDA phones that aren’t using some sort of push email, whether it’s exchange or BB. And that 4 hours talk time we ALL know is inflated…..Sickening. People should literally laugh at the people who are swooned into buying this piece of crap. I don’t care how fast the data is if you can only surf for an hour before you have to recharge what’s the point? The contest is now a 3 way contest: 3G iphone, Blackberry 9000, and the Xperia. I guess HTC can take comfort in the fact they made the hardware for the Xperia, that’s about as close as they’re going to get to making a good phone these days apparently.

    Xman says:

This phone is not for AT&t OR T-mobile in the USA. Look at the specs. GSM 900/1800/1900
Basically it is voice only for both networks in the USA.

They need the 850mhz spectrum for AT&T.
And then the 1700mhz for T-mobile.

That 2100mhz spec is probably only compatible for Europe and not T-Mobile in the USA.

Xman: There is another version with GSM 850/1800/1900 and HSDPA 850/1900. So, while it still won’t be offered by at&t for this reason, it can be easily imported unlocked.

It’s a beautifully designed phone. But how could they not include a SD slot, and SDHC.

If you haven’t noticed yet HSDPA is 3G. That is the thing that 3G is based off of.

HTC Touch Diamond will be the bomb! Y’all are dumb. Yes, it IS a 3G phone. It tops the Iphone by a landslide cuz 1. it’s smaller 2. better screen pix resolution (640×480 diamond vs. 480×320 iphone) 3. better camera (3.2 megapix w/ auto-focus AND can record video vs. 2.0 megapix) 4. better MMMS (can send video) 5. better professional use (microsoft office applications) 6. faster (HSDPA 7.2mbps vs. HSDPA 3.6mbps) 7. has A2DP (bluetooth music capable) 8. has a radio 9. has a built-in GPS

    Y’all are suckers!

I like my new HTC Cell Phone bought November 8 2008, I don’t need to use all it’s features,I can use them if I want to anytime, for example I can use the phone as a modem for my laptop if I’m out of town at a hotel I can browse the internet mobile websites anytime I want to.I can take pictures with the 3.2 mp camera in the daytime(works best). This phone has many siimilarities to the New Blackberry Touch Storm
