More info on HTC’s new devices
Were the spy shots and leaked specs not enough to hold you over until the official launch? We’ve got a bit more info on the upcoming HTC next generation devices. The new handsets will be called the HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch Pro, and the HTC Touch Dual Pro. The Touch Diamond is the Diamond, the Touch Pro is the Raphael, and the Touch Dual Pro is apparently a refresh of the existing HTC Touch Dual. - 256MB ROM / 128MB RAM
- 7.2MB HSDPA / HSUPA (rev A EVDO for Sprint versions)

No word just yet on when we can expect these to launch, but we have a feeling it will have something to do with May 6th.

900mAh battery…
Might as well put a hand crank on this thing.
lmao I was thinking the same thing Glen.
Is it true that if the HTC diamond is the upgrade of the mongul that verzion should be recieving a upgrade of there xv6800 PDA
I understand to get a more sleek and thin device they have to utilize and compress technology more and more every year. Yet by now you would think the battery industry would have developed something to increase the battery length and capacity as well.
Why the heck announce and display CDMA/EVDO phones in London, a few thousand miles away from anywhere they would work? There’s got to be something else coming out on the 6th.
Win Mobile…Yawn.
does that mean sprint could be lauching video telephony this year with those headsets?? ummmmmmm
What a beast, but that battery ain’t gonna cut it.
*caveman voice* phone goood, battery baaaadd…
But enough to interest you to read and comment here.
So I guess the 528MHz processor is the same that they use in the XPERIA? (which I will have the moment it’s available for purchase…can’t wait)
i mean, damn, the kaiser has a 1350mAh battery and i cant go a full day on it if i use it more than lightly. God forbid i actually do something on the tilt… this phone w/ the extra horsepower and smaller battery… this should be fun
this phone may go to T-Mobile, because…..battery is bad as Shadow!
So, we all think the battery seems to be underpowered, we know HTC would know this too. Does this mean we should hold out a hope that this is a way more efficient device than we’ve seen so far – or, should we assume the extended battery will a) be available after the main press introduction and/or b) be available as an aftermarket add on that extracts more hard earned cash from my wallet?
What’s the deal HTC?
by my almost scientific calculations I’m predicting that this thing will be about 2.3 x 4.25.
Dang I was getting close to buying a touch with the much waited for EVDO revA, GPS, and (maybe) 6.1 update around the corner any freaking day now so I can retire my Timeport P8767.
The mogul’s update has EVDO revA and GPS on it now. Why not upgrade to that instead of the touch MC? Plus I dont like the touch interface on the HTC Touch.
