I ran into a nokia corporate rep that works their t-mobile stores in south texas, he said tmobile is currently testing their n95, n82 models which may tie into this story.

T-Mobile will use AWS for 3G. Thats the 1700/2100 band which means all euro 3g phones working on the 2100 band will not work with T-Mo 3G. If the phone has 3G on 850/1900, then it can roam on ATT 3g

some more discovery, by FCC documentation
1. it has sister model “RM-357″
2. it uses BP-4L, and it’s used by Eseries phone, then it may be another Eseries phone, and it may be qwerty Eseries, because the battery is too large for regular T9 models

I believe the 2100MHz spectrum (T-Mobile) is not really 2100 but slightly off that, which means it will not be compatible.

Probably not, they didn’t win any 2100 spectrum in the AWS auction but unlocked phones w/ that band may be able to roam off of AT&T in some areas.

n series phone?? On another note, will T-Mobile have a native 2100MHz network that unlocked phones with a 2100MHz antenna can access?
