its being used as an interactive marketing tool. customers get to learn more about the product they want to buy plus looks super cool so it makes people want to buy something.

We could also use it to transfer info from compatiable devices and vice versa. The possibilities of this thing are numerous.

I can’t wait till one of these is vandalized and broken at my local ATT store. It will be just like their display iPod, except I don’t think they’ll be able to rip this one off its security chain and run to the nearest Jamba Juice to hide in.

I’m gonna go check out the one in san antonio.. i wonder if it’ll recognize my tytn II.. we’ll see… I might snap a vid or 2 of playing with it.

Do you think the people at these at&t stores are expecting hordes of tech freaks/junkies coming in just to check out the surface and nothing else?

I’ve scheduled a time to meet with the reps at the San Pedro store in San Antonio where the Microsoft Surface table is being showcased. Just spoke to an AT&T rep there and she said people will be on hand to answer questions until 9PM Central.

I’ll be bringing my camera and will be sure to come back here and share whatever photos and info I’m able to get with you all.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

Vandalized?. doubtful. in a video demo, two persons stand up in it. for it to be vandalized you would have to drop a brick from a second floor..
