If your rebuttal will be "this limits me to how and when i spend it", then you're even more of an idiot. I'm sure you can fill up your gas tank w/ $50, or pay some bill if it was a $100 rebate. To simplify it for you, you can EASILY find a way to spend your rebate before the card expires. If you do not manage to spend your rebate by the time your card expires, simply call the 800 number provided for you conveniently on the rebate form and one will be reissued with "gasp", a new expiration date. You guys really need to get over it and go through the process just like any other person. Demanding a cash in hand rebate is ridiculous, in an industry where you have to wait for your rebates. The purpose of rebates is to ensure you keep the service, and prevents fraudulent activity with activations and returns.
