We’re back with the second half of the segment! We explore RIM’s outages, their network infrastructure, and the recent 4.5 OS. We also jump into BES 5.0, OS 5.0, a BlackBerry Browser with WebKit, and more BlackBerry 9000 info. Oh yeah, can’t forget the iPhone SDK either. Ch-ch-check it out below!
P.S. Depending on the feedback we get, we’ll continue doing this. Anything in particular you’d like covered in future episodes?

Hey BGR. I think this is great, I listen to it while doing other things on the computer and it gives me all the rumors and news that I really haven’t heard before. I would definitely keep it going, I will be an avid listener to the show as I am for the blog.

Please keep this going. I really enjoy listening to it. Also, out of all the tech websites I go to, you are the only ones doing it. Please keep up the great work!

BGR, you need a cheesy radio jingle for the intro.

BG, This is great. We need more of this. Personally I would like to hear more on WinMo 6.1 and the upcoming handsets aside from BB’s and rehashed iPhones.

This is cool and all, but I think its a little rant-y in parts. The problem with that is the poor guy on the phone call doesn’t have ways to respond which leaves to dead air. Which is death for radio of any format. It’s cool to have opinions and diatribes, but end those with a question to your caller to pull them in.
Overall this is a cool just polish it up a bit.

This is pretty cool besides the fact that no one cares about Blackberries. Talk about real phones (phones that actually DO SOMETHING, like Windows Mobile and Symbian phones).

I’d have to agree that this could be tightened up a bit through some editing. A second or two of dead air perhaps doesn’t seem like a lot of time in the midst of the conversation, but it definitely stands out to someone listening to the broadcast.

Painful to listen to. Wanted to listen more, but couldn’t force myself to stick around until the end. Change that music, too. Yikes.

Why won’t you display my somewhat negative comment, BGR? Are you only showing the neutral to positive postings? WTF?

I really enjoyed this segment as well as the first radio Segment.. Please keep it up I will listen to them all.. Its one thing reading news, but hearing it is much more enjoyable.!
Heres something though, change the background music though, cause if its the same song the whole time it gets old, choose 2 or 3, and mix it up.

Nice. I still in my opinion Like Blackberry for what they do. I havn’t saw OS 4.5 yet, but Blackberry Software is still way easier to operate, runs smoothly and is faster to operate than Windows and WAY better than Palm. I would love to hear you address the “memory leak” issue where blackberry’s just randomly lose your SMS history. Also Love the talk on the 9000 screen upgrade. One thing is that Blackberry is the most easly upgradeable device on the market now.

B-B-B-BBBBBGR RadioRadioRadio_o_o_o… (lol…sorry, I got carried away)
This is great stuff! I never listen to the radio, EVER! But I noticed how much I enjoyed listening to this while I was doing other productive things.
In my opinion, and I believe other people will agree with me, based on the amount of news BGR brings to it’s audience in a month, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have this audio-cast every two weeks. Each session can cover the past two weeks topics - somewhat of an overview and gives the audience to listen to BGR, and the other writers to share their opinion about the current/future products, services and news from the mass media.
That’s my idea and I believe it would greatly benefit everyone! I’m looking forward to more!

I enjoyed listening! But I would recommend not having music in the background. It makes it harder to hear the voices clearly, especially for anyone piped through on a phone or VOIP connection.

Which one is the boy genius. The guy talking all the time or the guy on the phone. Love it more if I knew who is who!!!
