Yeah, the LX is the best sidekick ever. Lol. My screen is bigger && yeah the phone does remind me of holding a remote, but the slide looks cramped, fat && ugly, like they tried to fit too much things into too little of a phone. && yeah this phone is big but its the sleekest big phone ever! && I like my flashing lights! Everytime my phone rings I feel like I’m at the club! Lol.

For all the men out there with no balls I want you guys to know when the slide fucks up in the internet if you click jump and gp back to the web its fixed but the LX for little d***s who like constantly breaking screens and jack ass cameras to know that the LX is a money waster and it freezes up the whole piece of shat when it gets web problems

personally, I have the ID. yeah, the jump-off of all SK’s. I love my phone. it does the job well. I’m upgrading to the red slide next month. my bestfriend has the LX and she hates it. my other bestfriend has the Slide in purple and loves it. I was going to go with the Dash or Blackberry Pearl, but the red Slide pushed me away from the other two options. My phone is a “ghetto”, “generic” version of the “real deal”. I say its all in how you treat you’r phone. I’ve never had any problems with my phone. Hopefully I’ll enjoy the upgrade. I’m really excited to get my Red Slide. [: I think its sexy. Even though Purple is my favorite color in the world. Prove me otherwise about not getting the Sexy Slide. =P

for all the dudes out there, stop being little b******, only people with 2 balls below there d*** could get the purple slide so shut up. the new sidekick looks like hot pink instead of red but i’m sticking with my regular original slide and the lx is good too. Actually ‘M,’the Slide does have a faster processor, and more RAM. The Sk3 and the LX have 200 MHz OMAP 331 processors and 64mb of RAM, while the Slide has 225 MHz TI OMAP 850 processor with 128mb RAM.

We’re not crying Jer, LX owners are the ones crying because really, they got ripped off. Like you.

Tony i would have to disagree. The Slide doesn’t have a faster processor. That phone is more like the the 3 than anything else. All thats different is how it is presented ( glider). Now one thing i do agree on is that the color. Who cares you see men say ” Only Real Men Can Wear Pink.” And it is advertised on pink shirts as well. Only real men would buy that sidekick for its color then, but real men would also have to look at the stats too. If you go on any rating website like Cnet it tells you all the problems with it. And why buy the sidekicks now when a better one is coming out late next year. It will have everything an LX has and more like Wi-Fi! I am not trying to change your mind about what you guys have already but really before you buy read all the reviews then you will make the better choice. Most of you your sidekick is fine depending on what you do. The slide is gopd for children and stuff but the LX is great for teens, because it bigger because your hands are getting bigger, and you would not want to cramp your hands. This is my opinion on the topic, of the SideKick SIDE. =)-

The LX is a far superior phone. After getting 2 defective ones I finally was upgraded to an LX. Bigger, better looking screen, and much easier to type on. I wish it came in red!!

I have had the Slide ever since I was on a user trial for it, and all I can say is it is an excellent phone all around. Yes Moto dropped the ball in the beginning, but aside from that it’s great. I actually compared this with my friend’s LX, and in my hearing test I found that the audio quality is better than the LX’s.

I like my Sidekicks simply because of the operating system. Though I hate the market that T-Mobile tarkets for these phones… everyone that I know that has a Sidekick doesn’t even fit into who they go after. I’ll probably switch over to an Android phone once those are out since the former Danger CEO moved onto that.

I DONT AGREE AT ALL FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT THE SLIDE AND THE I.D ARE ON TWO DIFFERENT LEVELS… AS A MATTER OF FACT THE SLIDE HAS PROVEN BENEFITS OVER THE LX AT THAT. LOOK AT YOUTUBE FOR YOUR PROOF. THE I.D HAD NO CAMERA OR MP3 PLAYER AT ALL. THE GRAPHICS WERE HORRIBLE AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY MALFUNCTIONED JUST AS MUCH AS ANY OTHER SIDEKICK.

Great point Tony. Everything was said on key. The Slide is a good phone. Don’t get me wrong the LX is nice but it’s too big, costs more & doesn’t really have anything over the Slide. Oh yeah…for people saying purple is a girls color…I guess all the players on the Minnesota Vikings & the Baltimore Ravens are females????????

In my oppinion, you get more value for your money when you buy a SLide. Faster processor, more RAM, nice screen, better camera, tiny. The LX is merely a Sidekick 3 with a nice screen, better camera flash, and.. lights? Males need to stop doubting their sexuality when it comes to the color of the best Hiptop yet. Besides… what’s wrong with purple? I see guys wearing pink.

I guess people don’t remember that the Slide is a Motorola product. That would easily explain color change. The way Moto works, expect color changes to last until 2009 when they come out with the follow up, the “Glider”.

Hopefully, MS & Danger come up with a ridiculous OS and employ either HTC or Sharp to do the next SK.

Haha I was going to say they need to remedy the random resets before introducing a new color. I’m fine with the current color. I still don’t know why guys can’t get past the color. I think it is very sleek looking and a perfect design choice. I just need one that isn’t plagued by the manufacturing defect!
