I have been using the Touch and the Mogul. This device not having Windows Mobile 6 on it is a definite showstopper for me. Plus, GSM does not work where I live.
I have not been impressed with the iPhone. Configuration is not as straight forward out of the box as it could be. It is okay if you want your phone to be an iPod too but I have always used separate MP3 players for my tunes.
Apple still still consistently tries to stay in their proprietary world and that has always been an issue for me.

The iPhone is a Great phone and it has some awesome features. But nowaday people want EVDO and the iphone to this date has not offered that. They also made a mistake by not allowing third party software. Apple makes a great OS that is 20 times better than windows and that makes their iphone have good leverage. So when the iphone has EVDO and Third Party support then you can say the iphone rocks or whatever you think it is.

Despite all, the iPhone is superior to any other mobile phone on the market. I current have a T-moble HTC Shadow. It looks great but the OS sucks and that being an avide fan of Windows. On most of the phones that I have tested out myself with this os have been exausting do to the constant lagg on apps. Its like going to place where they serve your favorite food and it ends up tasting bad.

I find it interesting that people for some reason don’t seem to realize that Apple was not the first company to create a touchscreen phone. Check out the Motorola A1000. Plus it had GPS and 3G and that was in 2004. Besides, there aren’t many form factors for a touchscreen phone. I think the iPhone is a nice smartphone, with the exception of the touchscreen, hardly innovative. The iPhone is just a very well marketed version of concepts and technology that has been around for years. Again not to say that the iPhone isn’t cool. I will admit though that I like this phone because its not an iPhone. And EV-DO is FAST!

Its funny how all this cell phone company have been in business for many years and never ever decided to come up with a device like the iPhone and know they try so hard to come up with dumb devices that sucks and are not even close to the iPhone

but ii need to do a fone for somebody . . as a consumer ii kno evr thing ii want. as a gimic mabe motorola or any fone company needs to put regular consumers like a business tycoon, a over organized micromanaging mom nd a hip tech saby teenager to create like the perfect fone!

It is the Samsung, SPH-M800, INSTINCT. This is the same phone that was “leaked” back on January 10, 2008. Most people posted that it would be released in the 1st quarter of 2008. However, if they had checked just a little more in the FCC files they would have seen the USERS MANUAL wasn’t due to be available (at that time) until July 2, 2008. I didn’t check the OS…suppose to be Sprint’s own.

I have held device in hand and used the qwerty touch pad works flawlwessly keys are big and has vibration after u touch each key. Phone was still beta version and wasn’t fully operational buts its real nice.
