BlackBerry Curve 8330 – Six Carriers with Fool’s Gold

As you may remember, almost one year ago, we broke news of the BlackBerry Curve 8330. Granted, some facts have since been corrected (not a World Edition device), but it’s been a rather long wait for CDMA customers wanting a BlackBerry Curve device. Recent news posted on BGR has shown pictures of the Sprint release, as well as a launch date for the Curve model.
Now, for your very own pleasure and enjoyment on the only site you love, we bring you pictures of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 from your favorite neighborhood CDMA carriers - Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, Telus, Bell Mobility, and US Cellular.

About damned time.
Hmm…second post.
Now where is the BGR giveaway?!?!?!
So is Sprint going to be the darker graphite/black color as per recent BB history or the titanium color per Brightpoint? or both? or is that darker color being referred to as titanium?
Yay – let’s hear it for Verizon once again getting the “latest” device a year after its release.
Couldn’t be happier that I switched to AT&T.
Will CDMA not just roll over and die all ready? I can’t wait for Verizon’s switch to LTE so Sprint and the other gnats can spend their final days in a hospice somewhere.
Glad T-Mobile has had these for a while now.
PS: Why does such a phone-centered site have such a large font on your mobile site?
Nice to see Verizon step up to the plate, if the 9000 is going to take a year or more, i’ll take the curve. Even though Verizon is always slower than AT&T – the coverage and service is worth it.
Is the processor going to be upgraded?
Ironic…how i waited almost a whole year for the BB Curve to come out for Sprint and last week I broke and bought an iPhone…
But no regrets…I don’t think the BB Curve would hold all my music and play it as good as the iPhone does anyways…
ps. Sprint service and customer service really sucked…thank GOD i’m no longer stuck with Sprint…
I like the curve but my job won’t let me have a camera phone. Why not a world edition curve?
All I know, when I get my Curve, I’ll buy out right so I’m not stuck for another two years with Sprint.
When the time comes to switch… T-Mo here I come…
I’ve been holding out for the 9000 for Verizon, I’ll probably have to wait for another year after it comes out for AT&T, but by then BB will probably be rolling out the new 10000 series…
Why can’t Verzion just get a phone before AT&T for once.
Cesar – Just go ahead and make the switch to T-Mobile if that is what you want to do. The 8830 will not work with US GSM networks. It’s all CDMA here and GSM over the rest of the world (mostly).
ColorwarePC.com here I come!!!!
May can’t get here soon enough!
oh man…. i want the Spring one but with Bell… the black one looks way too sexy… got damn….
ADK,
Who are you kidding saying that Sprint service sucked?? There is just no way that AT&T service is better than Sprint. Customer service maybe, but you’d have to be an idiot to need to call customer service more than once ever 3-6 months!!
I understand switching to AT&T because they have better phones, but you said Sprint services sucked!
So, do tell us how AT&T service is better than Sprint service?
My dream has come true. But us CDMA users will have the phone for about 3 months and RIM will come out with something else that we wont be able to get our hands on for a year and a half!
This is why I vent to Att. Verizon just takes way tooo long.
the 8330 is listed on the blackberry curve web site today. available through verizon. when you click the link it says 8830 instead
hoping to pick up a that black case for my 8320
ADK: How does Sprint not suck? They are bleeding customers to VZW, AT&T, and TMO on top of losing as much money every quarter as they are worth. You say AT&T isn’t better except for customer service? Then maybe CS is more important to people than Sprint thinks, since they’ve made a reputation for itself of not giving to $hits about it’s customers.
I agree with the other posters. CDMA needs to rollover and die. Who the hell wants last years devices? CDMA is an ‘afterthought” to most device manufacturers and that’s why CDMA gets all the great devices dead last.
Did anyone else notice that the dates on most of the phones are wrong. First of all, most of the phones say May 25th(it’s not May yet), but are inconsistant on the day(Wed, Thur, or Fri). This to me suggests that all of these pictures are photoshopped. I believe the color schemes of the casings are correct, but I also think that the screens are pictures of screens taken from other devices(like the 8830’s).
Either way, I hoped that they have updated the memory issue, and that this will be a world edition device. I need to upgrade bad, because it seems like I have been using my 8703e forever now.
This phone looks disgusting in the standard Verizon silver. That black though, that is something to be envious of.
The cancellation fee and contract price of a curve on tmobile combined is probably less than the outright price of a curve on Sprint plus the contract price of a curve on Tmobile when you switch.
Got to tell ya, that gunmetal black screen outline looks sweet! But I will have a 9000 or an xperia in my hands soon and the curve will be old hat….
James,
Good call on the dates… One says Wednesday May 25, another Thursday May 25 and yet another says Friday May 25. All strange since tomorrow’s April 1st…
Also, if there haven’t been any pics floating around for the other carriers, why are they all miraculously rounded up here… Imagine how many days it would take to get all of these “Pre-release” shots. On a techno rumor site, they’d be out ASAP to get the exclusivity on the story.
James, I think you caught an April Fools Joke. Sorry Jibi I think you’ve been exposed.
