iPhone firmware 2.0? You’re damn right we got it!

Like you really expected the boys in blue (that’s us, BGR, for all you slow pokes) to not have it. Unlike some other media outlets (sorry Engadget), we’re giving y’all all the screenshots you can handle! What’s that? You want to see how Exchange is setup? No problem. Want to check out the Parental Controls? Well, check ‘em out! If there’s anything in particular you’re wondering about, just drop us a comment and we’ll do out best to answer it. Let me start it off: no, you can’t get the firmware.

It’s like windows mobile 2003se replacing 2002se, but for a ridicously expensive, proprieary, overrated mobile OS on completely counter-intuitive hardware. Get back to the stuff on NTT DoCoMo.

Thanks BGR, but really who cares? Every little tidbit about the iPhone sure is annoying.

Yeh, you should know, pheer6224. Exactly how big is your company? How many copies of your book “I Know What Great Technology Is” did you sell?

Really… DoCoMo? That’s the one with the 70’s transistor radio antenna on it using the 80’s phone keypad (which you press 3 times to get the letter C) and the RAZR flip screen. Boy now that is some cutting edge advancement in a phone!!!!

Hey..is the Exchange remote wipe feature included with 2.0? If so…can you test it to see what is erased?

Have you checked how Exchange works with a security certificate? Does it have a local store where a certificate can be used?

HEY what is the First screen shot of “Interface” Status Bar and Springboard.
What does that do?!?!?!?

Could you explore the new interface menu more in depth? Then post screenshots afterwards?

Your site is so slow loading, My guess is that 2.1 will be out before your pix of 2.0 loads.

@ Shasta
Umm, Shasta - read the BGR post:
“Unlike some other media outlets (sorry Engadget),”
BGR is the one who was being bitchy and making a big deal about who had it first.

Lol, all I said was we had screen shots and not pictures of a phone. That implied we have the firmware…that’s all. We love Eng!

Can you go more into the “interface” menu

@ The Boy Genius
“We love Eng!”
I thought that was the case - thought there might be a little friendly ragging going on with your comment - not sure it came across that way in the post, though…nice photos anyway - thanks for the good stuff.

I agree with Robert! Could you explore the new interface menu more in depth? Then post screenshots afterwards?
What would also be cool is if you could explore the International menu, or just post a comment letting your international readers know if any new languages have been added!
Thanks!
