Rock Band Store goes live
Rock Band is a favorite around BGR World Headquarters, so we were quite pleased to see the following bit of news. The Rock Band online store has finally gone live, albeit only for our Playstation 3-toting brethren. The store features a large amount of downloadable content, sporting tracks from artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Oasis, The Police, and more. Tracks are $1.99 each, with a number of special "Track Packs" available for $5.49. The downloading process is a bit cumbersome, and requires a PS3 running OS 1.03, but it’s certainly worth checking out.

Amazing 1 ps3 game can now cumbersomely do what a xbox 360 game can do. PS3 needs to give up already wait it out and plan a good ps4.

Why on earth would it require a PS3 running 1.03 OS..especially since most PS3 owners will have updated a loooong time ago..this makes no sense to me.

The only reason people would compare a PS3 to an XBOX 360 is because they know that they made the wrong choice when they bought their system and are now screwed because they will never get HD gaming of any kind.
Sure MSFT did it first but Sony did it better.

What the hell are you talking about? You don’t need a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drive for “HD Gaming”.
The Xbox 360 supports 1080p, does the PS3 have some super ultimate display capability above that or something?

The 360 “supports” 1080p it doesn’t actually do 1080p. The PS3 does 1080p, not “support” it.
