Lazaridis: 3.5G Blackberry is “very fast”
Mike Lazaridis is many things, but a man of many words? Not so much. In a recent interview with Britain’s Financial Times, the BlackBerry co-CEO was grilled about all things Lazaridis. While revealing that the 8320 is his day to day weapon of choice, the man behind the scenes also let slip that he was carrying around a 3.5G-capable BlackBerry prototype. When asked about the top-secret model, Lazaridis responded that the device is "very fast over third-generation networks that have HSDPA." There you have it. A 3.5G Berry is currently in the wild…now if only we could get a little consumer love, eh Mike?

This will look great next to my (way too large) ever growing cellular collection…a BJ, Tilt, soon-to-be XPERIA X1, and a soon-to-be BB with HSDPA.
