Opera for Helio Ocean gets official
This one has been a long time in the making, as we’ve had access to an unofficial hacked build of Opera Mini on the Helio Ocean for quite some time now. Both Helio and Opera, responding to massive demand from the Ocean user community, have worked together to bring an official build to the masses. As of this morning, Opera Mini is now officially available through Helio for their Ocean devices. Downloadable from Helio’s Web Portal, the specially-tailored version of Opera Mini should provide optimized browsing for Ocean users, and is the first time that Opera will be available directly from a U.S. carrier. Good news for Opera! While the initial launch appears to be limited to the Ocean, if all goes well we wouldn’t be surprised to see further Opera integration across the entire Helio line.
now if you could only set it as the default browser over the reallly reallly crappy default browser…
i have been useing opera on the ocean the first day i got it it is killer that helio hears all of us users and now every one can enjoy the great browser way to go helio keep up the great work i am a cumster for life
