Black Nokia N82 Gets Official, Ships Soon

Remember the black Nokia N82 we showed you the first live images of last month? Remember how hot it looked, despite the blurry pics? Well Nokia finally press released it this morning, making the black stallion official. The N82 is Nokia’s "other" flagship handset and packs all of the features you love about the N95, plus a xenon flash, into a candybar form factor. Nokia is cleverly billing the handset as a storytelling device designed to capture and share journeys and discoveries. A-GPS with integrated track recording, Share Online 3.0 integration for multimedia sharing and a 5 megapixel Zeiss-equipped camera with 30 fps video capture are just a few of the components that indeed make the N82 a perfect device to capture all aspects of life. Nokia’s release states that the black N82 should start shipping within weeks and the price point is set at €400 ($632 today). If you’re game, the MCO shop is showing an estimated arrival date of April 2 and a $599 price point. As for us, we’ll wait for US 3G.
