Nokia N78 coming to AT&T?

Like it was going to any other U.S. carrier with 850/1900MHz 3G bands. Anyways, Marco over at CellPhoneSignal uncovered a reference to MEdia Net in the user manual for the Nokia N78, and while this does not absolutely positively confirm it’s heading to the nation’s largest carrier, it sure as heck doesn’t hurt, right? In terms of specs, we’ve got a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AGPS, and a couple other goodies like an FM radio. It’s actually a mid-range Nseries, so this combined with the rumored Nokia N95 on AT&T will make the Symbian-lovers pretty happy. Let’s just hope AT&T doesn’t pull a N75 on us with the delays.

So we should be expecting the N78 on ATT sometime mid 2009? What a joke.

I’m tempted, but I really would like to see a device running Symbian’s touch UI.

Here’s hoping that at&t doesn’t nerf these phones in some way..

I’ll agree with _touch_Me_ although I bought a Tilt and haven’t looked back…nothing better, too much worse on ATT.

I don’t care it AT&T picks it up or not. I bought my N95, my wifes N82 and in May , my daughters N78 when released, all from MobileCityOnline. My daughter will love the FM transmitter feature, she will be able to play the music in her phone though her car stereo without any wires. The N78 is also slated to get the latest release of the S60 OS. Nice, can hardly wait.
