Myspace working on iPhone application

This should come as no real surprise, but it looks like Myspace has been hard at work on a native application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The company is reportedly well into the development phase of a new version of their social networking site, purposely built for Apple’s portables. Reading between the lines, it’s clear that Myspace was one of a chosen few granted access to an early build of the iPhone SDK. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing an official launch concurrent with Apple’s upcoming announcement a little later, but let’s hope that they’re far enough along so as to ensure a timely release. Any guesses as to who else might have gotten their hands on the pre-release SDK? Such little time ’till we find out!

love the blog spam that is becoming popular on here. Yes blog SPAM.

I personally cant stand MySpace but adding the app to iphones will be a very good move for News Corp and Apple.

blog SPAM has gotten popular on way too many sites.

I’m actually disappointed it took News Corp this long to work on something more native to the iPhone. FOX News is the best news site for the iPhone (the site, not the news). With Facebook already there, you would have thought Myspace would have followed more quickly; maybe they were waiting on Flash so people’s profiles looked as sparkly and ADHD as possible.
