tried it…..it runs slower than the current tilt/kaiser with no video drivers.

yea i dosn”t stream too well youd hav to reoad the video i was wationg some wrbsite and i had to reload the videio atleast 6 times or the browser would crash

I don’t know why I find it funny that I’m using the Firefox Beta to download the IE Beta.

For starters, it freezes everytime http://www.boygeniusreport.com is accessed. Althought Emulate IE7 works just fine.

The beta 1 is there mainly as a preview for developers and designers, and most of them knew it was coming. It’s not meant to be a wide release for even close to a lot of people, which is why it wasn’t announced or advertised much at all–that was in fact the plan. It’s also an early beta, so there definitely will be issues and people who use it (which again is aimed at developers and designers) generally install it on some system that is not their primary mostly for (compatibility) testing–again, part of the reason not to simply advertise it to any John and Jane who wouldn’t really know any better.

Tried it and installed well. So far so good. Love the IE7 emulate mode for backward compatibility.

How was this a quiet release? They announced and did demo of IE8 at MIX 08 conference.
