AT&T stores to offer refurbished iPhones with new activations, $199 and $249
Don’t want to pony up $399 for an iPhone? We just got word that AT&T is offering refurbished iPhones (with new activations only) for awesome prices! It’s $199 for the 4GB, (wait, 4GB?) and $249 for the 8GB. Let’s call that a steal, alright? Here’s the internal memo:

Refurbished iPhones at COR Stores. For a limited time, select COR stores in the New England Market will offer refurbished iPhones (both 4GB and 8GB) for a special price. These devices are good as new and give customers the opportunity to experience the revolutionary iPhone with big savings. New activations only, upgrades with Manager approval. Refurbished iPhones will only be available to purchase in select COR stores across the Northeast Region and will be available while supplies last. Please reach out to customers that have recently purchased an iPhone to see if they are interested in activating an additional iPhone at a discounted equipment cost. Please note no in-store sales materials should be created. This is to be sold as a closing tool only. Product is available while supplies last from initial shipment. Failure to follow this communication will result in a Code of Business Conduct violation

I bought the 4GB when they stopped making them and droped their price to $299. The user interface in this thing is AMAZING. Don’t take my word for it PLEASE go play with one for a 1/2 hour! I have 32 albums of music as well as the entire movie Superbad and 2 episodes of family guy on there and it is only the 4gig. My girlfriend and I were waiting at the dmv and we each had an earbud in while watching an episode of family guy. (fact: you can’t get board whith an iphone) I check the weater, my email, and last nights sports scores on espn.com before I even roll out of bed in the morning.
I work for At&t there has been no evidence through the FCC that a 3G iphone is going to be pushed out this year until they improve the lithium ion battery. the tilt suck because it uses windows mobile 6 and it always shuts down. thats probably why no one buys them. and besides once you get the i phone unlocked you can put playstation and 64 emulators on it:)
I am considering purchasing 2 refurbished I-Phones. Are they any good. Can I down load music from my Dell-I Tunes to the phone. Is this really a good deal?

Well who in the world would need a freakin 32 GB I phone. I can hardly take up the space on my 4 Gb I phone so I thing it is really worth it and the price for the 32 GB I phone will probably be rediculous and the way gas prices are no one will be able to afford one!!!
