Italian localization is on the iPhone since 1.1.1 as well, so it's not a mystery it's coming. The mobile phone market in Italy is very complicated and different from European/US markets, so there was a big delay trying to find an agreement between Apple and an italian provider. We'll know more on March 6th. The same bundle is there since 1.1.3, and other references were already present in previous firmwares.
