iPhone SDK delayed?

Remember when Steve Jobs told us that the iPhone SDK would be available by the end of February? Yeah, well, we’re nearing the end of the aforementioned month, and there’s still no word from Cupertino on the status of the coveted developers kit. Could it be…delayed? Adding fuel to the fire, Business Week has revealed that a "reliable source" informed them that the SDK will be arriving between 1-3 weeks late. So very sad. Delays are nothing new in the technology world, but the more often a company promises and fails to deliver, the less faith we have in their word. Come on, Apple. Step it up and let us get our Adobe Flash on.

    And bluetooth voice dialing…

The Apple fanboys won’t ever say a disparaging word about stuff like this. If it were MSFT on the other hand they would be out in force.

So lets recap the Leopard was late due supposedly to the iPhone, Apple TV take 2 was late and its not work so well for some, now the SDK is very likely going to be late. Plus Leopard was not fully baked and wow we have two dot updates in 4 months with one weighing in around 400MB I mean come on Jobsman get it right would ya.

The iphone is an MP3 player that can do a whole lot more but its it can’t cut and paste, it can’t add 3rd party apps and we are still waiting 8 months out , and with business slowing (flash memory cuts per Jobsman) we are on iPhone 1.5 with the memory boosts so quickly and there was the suckers tax. I mean you cut the price 33% then when the users get pissed you say oh, we will give you $100 at the apple store, so you still got screwed.

I am waiting for iPhone 2.0 with no less than 32GB and 3G otherwise why would I bother.

This is what happens when you listen to lulling words of Marketing instead of the exact words of Engineers.
