Second Life comes to your mobile phone

We here at BGR World Headquarters aren’t quite sold on the whole Second Life thing, but we certainly respect its incredible popularity. Hoping to spurn further success, Second Life developers Linden Labs has partnered with Vollee to bring the virtual world experience to a mobile phone near you int he near future. Vollee has developed a mobile Second life interface that should allow users  with compatible 3G-capable handsets to explore and interact with their Second Life landscape in much the same way as they are accustomed to doing on their home computers. The limited screenshots look pretty impressive to us, and if you fancy yourself as a Second Life fan, Vollee is currently holding a pre-registration sign up for their upcoming beta trial.
