Verizon launching $99 unlimited calling voice plan on the 19th?

We got a couple tips about it today. Apparently some readers are seeing an advertisement for this $99 unlimited calling voice plan on USATODAY’s website. If you see, let us know!

Actually, since each secondary line would be $99/month, NE2, annual upgrade, and all that stuff would still apply to each one of them, since all of that is based on the monthly price of the line, and at $99/month the price is certainly high enough to qualify. So, given the quoted prices (assuming they are even true) it seems like it basically doesn’t matter if you go with single lines or family share lines, unless perhaps the prices will in fact be different in the end, and/or perhaps some shared features (like the Select or Premium versions of the plans) will make it somewhat worthwhile.

You are correct, and if you go family share you will save as much as 10 bucks a month VS getting 2 single lines….so /shrug kind of a wash really.

i called verizon and ask them about this plan, they tould me that they dont offer it, i ask them about the usatoday ad, the put me on hold and tould me that on the 19th its will be avalable.
