T-Mobile Waives Activation Fees for President’s Day Weekend
If you’re currently shopping for a new carrier and you’ve been having trouble deciding, you’ll be interested to know that the ever-growing T-Mobile US is running some nice incentives for the President’s Day holiday. The hefty minute-bundles, My Faves and a promise of 3G in 2008 might not be enough to sway you, so T-Mobile is throwing in a few additional perks. Starting today and running through Monday February 18, the pink provider is waiving the $35 activation fee for customers signing up for new postpaid contracts. That might sound like a small deal but hey, that’s $35 more that you can put towards your handset. Family plans apply as well so if you’re picking up a new line for you, your wife, your three rugrats, that’s an extra $175 that you can keep in your pocket. T-Mobile also has plenty of deals running on handsets with new 2-year contracts, including the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 for $100 and the HTC Shadow for $150. Hit the banner on T-Mobile’s homepage to party.

off topic, sorry.
It’s been almost two months since we’ve had any sort of BB 9000 series teaser…..I NEED MY FIX!
Anything will suffice, a blurry picture, new specs, rumored release date.
please….I’m begging.
This also includes waiving the $18 fee for current customers upgrading their phone also.
I can’t remember the last time I had to pay an activation fee. I didn’t realize they still did that.
If someone can’t figure out how to get out of an activation fee you shouldn’t be allowed to work with electronic devices unsupervised.
And now that tmobile is coming out with uma house phones by vtech launching in Feb.21 In test markets in Dallas and Seattle make tmobile even better. Router Will have its own sim with ethernet and phone jacks to support multiple lines
well this is good news for those people that are on a budget for minutes and family plans as long as you have coverage u can’t go wrong with tmobile
AT&T is doing this too!!
at&t is ran by a bunch of chipmunks.
“AT&T is RUN by a bunch of chipmunks”… which is far to generous. More like a pack of greedy hyenas. Down with the evil bastards…
Sorry mike but what is ATT doing aswell?
