This is a horrible demo. Aside from opening the clock, all she does is scroll up and down the menu. That is just one feature, not a full UI demo.

Yo, firstly, as for speed, it is not optimised software running on the device, but an emulation or maybe a development demo running on a PC through a touch screen.

Which leads to the second point that the black bars are the PC screen not the OS screen. Look at the display, it shows a white rectangle symbolising the outline of the device, so no space is wasted.

i know its a demo but did anyone else think it was slow in both response and transition times? Also the OS looks like it wastes the top and bottom of the screen, letterbox style. Good initiative but looks subpar to me.
