If some of our tipsters are to be believed, you very well might be able to mosey on down to your local T-Mobile shop and pickup a BlackBerry 8820 on March 5th. We’ve been told the unit will be identical to the AT&T version, but this time around it will support T-Mobile’s Hotspot@Home service (obviously!). We haven’t got our thumbs on the pricing info just yet, but believe you me, you’ll have it when we’ve got it!
Thanks, faithful tipsters!

Told u so.. step ur game up BG. I told ya’ll this like a month ago.

Now if only there were some useful news from Tmo.. like when 3G is finally going to launch. At this rate there’s no reason to look forward to the 9000 without it.

What is the value of this? Would anyone really want a 8820 over the cooler 8320? Perhaps only lawyers who can’t have a Cameraberry.
I switched to @Home Talk Forever from plain @Home yesterday. Rep told me my $20/Month family @Home drops down to just $10/month. I hope she was right.

My best friend is a TMo rep and he told me about this earlier this week. So I’d say it’s pretty definite.

ugh, how i envy all you american mobile customers! you’d figure that RIM being Canadian they’d let the carriers up here have first crack at some WiFi toys but nooooo! i’ve been contemplating picking up a 8820 unlocked or even a TyTN II but i cant be arsed and with my luck my carrier will get something better! enjoy your toys my american friends!

I agree with jawsnj. We need the VZW curve like yesterday. Or at least some speculation on when it’s coming. Keep up the good work BG.

When will the new 9xxx series come out. I need a new tech toy, and well I don’t wanna wait any longer.

Does it have built in WiFi and GPS?

Swing and a miss (again) RIM. What is so colossally hard about GPS, Camera and QWERTY in one phone? You’ve done every single feature combination EXCEPT for this.

Yes it has both same as att but t-mobiles network supports UMA.

I haveseen a picture of the phon and it looks to be a dark blue like the 8700g but I wouldn’t go by a pictue when the 8320 came out in gold the pictures where horid compaired to the real device. Guess we will see once march approches.
