T-Mobile Shadow gets massive software update
The Shadow is a fine handset, but we think T-Mobile might be pushing it a little here with the "Official Phone of Fun" tagline. They’re upping the "fun" quotient with a new system update that provides some new functionality to the HTC-sourced device. The new software allows users to send "audio postcards", which are essentially MMS messages with short audio notes attached, to any of your 5 MyFaves contacts. A number of functional improvements and bug fixes have been made as well. These include the ability to hang up calls when shutting the slider mechanism, a fix for the "multiple alarm issue" that has plagued WM devices for years, new camera themes, new ringtones/wallpapers/graphics, and the ability to display the camera application in portrait mode. Phew! Nothing crazy here, but there are enough functional enhancements that we think it’s probably worth your time to make the jump.
Uhh I gotta blackberry pearl 8120. The flucking thing has soo many probs with it, tmobile dose not want to replace the junk, so they said they would send me a shadow. I’ve had 4 internal problems with the pearl, and its not correctly working as if now. I’m having issues with downloads, Mms msgs, and…. The internet. I’ve had the problem with “GSM” mode for the past 5 days and tmobile gave me hell with it. I would not recomend them after 4.30 hours over the phone with them. They hung up on me 3 times, and transferd me 3 times to bb department. Grrrr I’m still in heat from them

The Shadow is a great phone.
They may be pushing it a little with their phone of fun nonsense.
But Tmobile is known for Horrid phones.
They are using that headline to attract young customers.
For all you that say Shadow battery life sucks.
That is true.
But ive noticed.
If you turn off eveyrthing you dont need like Bluetooth.Wifi.Data plan.and that sync command you do save alot of battery.
Also if you go through settings and choose best battery mode. And set custom energy settings that are GOOD for battery the life becomes drastically improved.
I have had this phone for a while now and once i noticed battery life is ass until you fix it up. I set it up and now battery life is great.
