New HTC TouchFLO Manila GUI?
Is HTC gearing up to release an update to their popular TouchFLO Windows Mobile skin interface? We certainly hope so. These screenshots purportedly depict a refreshed interface, though we can’t tell much from the actual images. The new interface is apparently code-named "Manila", but that seems that’s about all we can discern. HTC Insider has, however, posted the actual source files, so if you’re feeling a bit adventurous you might want to head on over and give it a shot. If we had to wager a guess, we bet that HTC was preparing a refresh to coincide with the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1 update, though that’s pure speculation on our part.

Suspiciously, it’s for VGA devices of which most HTC devices aren’t, and it links to an opengl-es.dll which many recent HTC devices don’t have nor support. This current alpha has pretty dismal FPS as is.
Related to the recent complaint about HTC’s suckage on the hardware drivers front? Time may tell.

Well, if att didn’t lick _____ and left the Tilt in its natural state then I’d be saying “can’t wait for this.”
But att does suck _____ and they didn’t leave my baby alone so it’s missing some of the coolest HTC stuff…except for the HTC home screen…

I gotta say, I downloaded it to my Tilt and like momentarily my Tilt was like “the fuck you doin’ son?” I did 40 minutes of damage control to get rid of any trace that was there and it turned out that Tilts’ don’t like to be worked on with 5% battery. So in the end, all it wanted was a simple charge.
Now my Tilt’s all better and working normally.
